On Monday of last week occurred the funeral of Bartle [sic] Olson, whose death occurred on the previous Saturday. He was buried in the Farmersville cemetery 7 miles southeast of Elliott. Pastor Holmgrain of the Lutheran church officiating. The deceased was over 88 years of age and had lived in this country 4 years with his son Peter Bartleson [sic] southwest of Elliott. He came from Sweden 25 years ago. A large number of relatives mourn his loss. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peterson and daughter of Varna attended the funeral.
